Or are you just laying out a question in your mind by typing it to a family member, friend, organization member, neighbor, or coworker. If you aren't demanding an answer or are leaving it up to the other person, then just end the thought with a (.)period. The other person can decide if it's a benign curious thought of yours or if it is a question to which they choose to respond. Remember, the beginning of the sentence will indicate it's a question (Do you, Are you, Is that, Who, What, Where, Why, When, How). The question mark (?) is like the body language indicating a demand or period (.) indicating 'no pressure'.
