-If we keep them at all, Mothers' and Fathers' days are to be come Parents' Day.
-June 17, Thanksgiving, MLKjr Day, Columbus Day, and July 4th can be Freedom Day.
-Veterans Day and Memorial Day can be Military Service Day.
-Christmas is a Holiday not a secular day; no gifts.
-New Year's Day is a secular day and can be combined with giving annual gifts.
Specific new focus observances should expire in 5 years and then be melded into one of the other focus or holy days.
Holidays are religious holy days. Focus Days are other focused observances.
Moms/Dads already have Birthdays.
